Terms of service

By creating a RugTrail account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a rug cleaning business, you agree on its behalf.

The service

RugTrail is a tool for recording the customer rugs your plant cleans: customers, orders, rug tags and intake condition, photo links, stage moves, repairs and deliveries. It is not a booking or invoicing system, a cleaning contract, an insurance record or a way to charge customers: any agreement about a damaged, lost or mixed-up rug is between you and your customer. Records are only as good as what was entered. We aren't responsible for rugs lost, damaged or mixed up, condition or photos recorded wrongly or not at all, photo links that stop working, or disputes between you and your customers or staff.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The plant owner controls who joins the plant's account and can disable users at any time.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other businesses' data.

Plans and billing

• New plants get a 14-day free trial without a card. After the trial, records stay readable, but adding or changing records needs a paid plan. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
• If a plan lapses, your data stays, but adding and changing records, and logins for other people, stop working until you choose a plan again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your plant's records belong to you. You can export them at any time, and we'll send a copy on request. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep RugTrail running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using RugTrail at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
